Yesterday we went to the Pumpkin Patch to pick out some pumpkins for FHE! Kate told us about a family that lives behind the stake center that has a pumpkin patch for people to come and pick them and they only ask for donations for the Perpetual Education Fund. What a neat idea, right? So we made our donation and picked our pumpkins and here they are! Layna was SO excited to get one- she talked about going to the pumpkin village to pick out her special pumpkin ALL DAY LONG. She absolutely LOVES Halloween and it is fun to see her get excited about the holidays. Maybe this year, the Great Pumpkin will rise out of the Pumpkin Patch and bring her lots of Halloween Goodies!

Lucy loved seeing the pictures of Layna. She said "That's my friend!" It was too cute. We need to get together again next time we are down and let the girls play! I can't believe how much Layna has changed lately- she's really growing up! They just don't stop. I bet Provo Canyon is a beautiful drive this time of year! How fun!

Layna looks so grown up! Her hair is so beautiful Meg! I think she takes after her mommy! I love fall and everything that comes with it! Picking pumpkins is so much fun.

Ashley- Thanks for the nice compliment! That was really sweet! I really don't know where Layna came from- she seems too beautiful to be my child, but doesn't ever mother marvel at the beauty of her child? :o) Fall is the BEST!!!
