Just another note on Proposition 8- I have researched the matter thoroughly- enough to hear both sides and research non-biased information, statistics, etc. and the more I learn about the whole situation, the more I see that it is pretty crucial to society's well-being that Proposition 8 passes on November 4th. I just wanted to say that the statistics I found involving the acceptance of same-sex marriages were down right SCARY. They were VERY shocking. If you want more information, I would be happy to pass it on via email, but it is not something I find appropriate to list here. It really broke my heart to see that the ones that will pay for gay/lesbian acceptance are our children. If this passes, as it did in Massachusetts, the effects will be felt down to the very roots of every facet of society. There are a lot of other states looking to CA to see how this will go down and I know it will make a big impact on how they will vote. I just pray that it passes, I am already planning on home-schooling my children, but even that right is being threatened in CA. I see how government is taking the right of parents to rear their children out of their hands. It is really hard to see, but I know that we are strong as parents and we need to stand up for our rights and not let someone take them away from us. We need to stand up and protect marriage, and the family. We are under attack and it is up to us to stand up for our rights as they are slowly being stripped from us. I am grateful to live in a free country, but there is a price to freedom- let's all do our part and make our voice heard! Please, if you live in CA, VOTE YES FOR PROP 8!!!
